1. What is Postflows?

Postflows is a post-purchase automation platform built for Shopify merchants. It helps you send the right shipping updates to your customers at the right time - automatically - so your support team spends less time answering "where is my order?" and your customers stay informed from checkout to delivery.

The problem Postflows solves

After a customer places an order, they want to know what's happening with their package. Without automation, that means either:

  • Your support team answers dozens of shipping status questions every day

  • Customers get generic, unbranded carrier emails that don't reflect your store's identity

Postflows fixes both problems by automating post-purchase emails through your existing email platform and giving customers a branded place to track their orders.

How it works

  1. A customer places an order on your Shopify store

  2. Postflows monitors the shipment in real time

  3. When a shipping event occurs (label created, package in transit, out for delivery, delivered, etc.), Postflows sends the event to your connected email platform

  4. Your email platform (Klaviyo or Omnisend) sends a branded, personalized email to the customer

Everything happens automatically, once you've set it up.

Rules are filters that control which orders and events Postflows processes - for example, only notify customers in specific countries, or skip internal test orders. See Order Filters and Event Filters.

Tracking Page - Postflows includes a branded tracking page that lives directly on your Shopify store. Instead of sending customers to a generic carrier website, they can track their order on your own domain, in your brand's look and feel.
