4. Reconnecting or Reinstalling

If you've removed Postflows from your Shopify store and want to reconnect it, your previous data is preserved and the store can be reactivated without losing any history.

What happens when you uninstall

When Postflows is uninstalled from Shopify:

  • Your store is marked inactive in Postflows

  • Shipping event notifications stop immediately

  • Your billing subscription is paused (no further charges)

  • All your data is kept - orders, settings, integrations, and history are not deleted

See Uninstalling Postflows for the full details.

How to reconnect

Reconnecting follows the same steps as the original installation:

  1. Reinstall Postflows from the Shopify App Store

  2. Go through the Shopify authorization flow

  3. Postflows detects your existing store record and reactivates it

When reactivated:

  • Your previous orders, event settings, rules, and integrations are all restored

  • Shopify webhooks are re-registered automatically

  • Your subscription is reactivated

Reconnecting a disconnected integration

If your Klaviyo or Omnisend connection is showing as disconnected (without uninstalling the app):

  1. Go to Dashboard > Integrations

  2. Click Connect next to the affected platform

  3. Complete the authorization flow

This refreshes the connection without affecting your store data or settings.
